Miss Bonneville Salt Flats

"Miss Bonneville Salt Flats" is made from recycled "Tide" packaging, yellow vinyl and plastic. I cut the launderette boxes in such a way to use the front of the box on the front of the skirt and the back of the box for the back, leaving the sides for the shirt. Above all, the concept was to reflect the checkered flag of a speedway with the title coming from my husband SuperDave's fascination with cars/speed trials performed on the salt flats of Utah. I always imagined someone posing in the artwork with the Tide sponsored race-car!!!....Perhaps it's in my future....I longingly await the invitation!!!
